We are looking for an exceptional Print Designer to be at the core of our creative efforts, producing compelling print materials that elevate Grenade’s presence in the marketplace. You’ll be responsible for translating our brand’s dynamic energy and vision into print pieces that resonate, attract, and leave a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the creative brand team to develop inventive, impactful designs that elevate the Grenade brand across a range of print media, including packaging, marketing collateral, and in-store displays.
  • Generate and develop conceptual ideas, translating them into standout visuals that meet print-ready specifications. Ensure all designs address the core communication needs of each brief.
  • Take on a diverse array of global design briefs, aligning with both the brand strategy and market-specific directions, ensuring consistency and relevance across different regions.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional marketing projects, bringing creative insight and taking full ownership of briefs, from concept through to final delivery.
  • Maintain high standards and efficiency, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. Take full accountability for your workflow, schedule, and output quality.
  • Collaborate with broader team members and stakeholders to align on goals, clarify project needs, and deliver solutions that best fit each brief’s objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, print technology advancements, and competitor activity to ensure Grenade’s designs remain innovative and competitive.
  • Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all phases of design, from concept and development to file setup and print production.
  • Work closely with vendors, printers, and production teams to ensure quality standards are met and designs translate flawlessly from digital to print.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas and a unique perspective to the table, contributing to the team’s overall creative direction and growth.

     Person Specification

    • Proven design experience in a fast-paced professional environment.
    • Strong eye for design fundamentals, including layout, colour and typography, with the ability to create visually impactful and cohesive designs.
    • Solid understanding of print production processes, file setup, and handling to ensure smooth transitions from digital to print.
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Additional skills in software such as Dimension, 3D mockup tools, and AI technologies are a plus.
    • Passionate about design, marketing, and related creative fields, with a commitment to innovative and thoughtful design solutions.
    • Eager to work closely with the team and contribute to large-scale projects, bringing fresh ideas and a strong creative perspective.
    • Confident in exploring innovative design ideas while understanding when to adhere to brand guidelines and project parameters.
    • Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively, adapting seamlessly to different team dynamics and project needs.
    • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in every project.
    • Able to maintain flexibility and high standards when working under deadlines or responding to last-minute requests.
    • Enthusiastic about learning, growing and advancing skills to keep pace with industry and company evolution.
    • Skilled in assessing challenges making informed decisions and presenting effective design solutions.
