We are looking for a dynamic Senior National Account Manager who will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers. With your strong negotiation skills, experience in account management, and a strategic mindset, you will play an integral part in driving business growth.

How Will You Contribute

  • Transforming Insight into actions:
    • Generating and utilizing data-led insights to prioritise category, channel and customer opportunities and plans.

  •  Building effective growth strategies with customers:
    • Through alignment to our category vision, implementing revenue growth management levers (pricing, trade terms, promotional investment, mix management, Pack Price Architecture) and a vision for the point of buying.
    • Demonstrate the ability to think on a 12 month to 3 year time-frame.

  • Planning and Executional Excellence:
    • Through end-to-end management of the P&L, forecasting and monitoring of performance, and great execution of our plans at the point of buying (online and offline).

  • Best in Class Customer Leadership:
    • Through Selling and Influencing, Negotiating and Joint Business Planning.
    • Able to set the framework for a proposition and work cross-functionally to build compelling insight-led stories and commercial propositions that differentiate Grenade with the customer and shopper.
    • Can sell and negotiate effectively to deliver solutions and results that work for both parties.
    • Able to translate customer needs and broader trends to identify growth opportunities and build aligned solutions for mutual benefit.

  • Lead and motivate a team of Account Managers
    • Build relationships at Senior Buyer/Category Buying Manager level with key customers
    • Take a leadership role within the UK Sales Team.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate the team.

  • Analytical skills to interpret data and generate insight.

  • A customer-centric approach to building and maintaining relationships.

  • Excellent selling, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.

  • Capable of working with a high level of self-sufficiency, coupled with a strong sense of collaboration.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, organised and flexible.

  • Collaborative, enabling meaningful working relationships with the rest of the Grenade team.

  • Proven experience in National Account Management, preferably in the FMCG sector
