Grenade® Teams up with Worcestershire Cricket Club
Grenade® are delighted to have joined forces with Worcestershire County Cricket Club, becoming the County's new Official Nutrition Partner, meaning the County's players and staff will benefit from using Grenade®'s renowned protein bars and healthy snacks throughout the 2017 campaign.
They will aid with recovery and give protein intake - without high levels of sugar - after any intense exercise and cover the full spectrum of what players need to meet their nutritional needs throughout a gruelling six month season.
The partnership came to fruition after Worcestershire CCC's Head Of Science and Medicine, Ben Davies, and Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, Ross Dewar, gave their seal of approval to Grenade®'s products and their benefits to the squad at New Road.
Grenade® are into their first year of exploring sponsorship with professional sports clubs - and Worcestershire CCC fits the bill perfectly but they have also been approached by several football and rugby clubs with regards to similar ventures.
Grenade® will receive pitchside and concourse advertising at New Road plus video of players using their product.
Ben Davies, Head of Science and Medicine at WCCC said: "The science and medicine team here at Worcestershire CCC are delighted to have Grenade® as our Official Supplement Partner."
"The players love both the quality and taste of these products and really buy into the Grenade® active nutrition lifestyle brand."
"Recovery is essential throughout a long cricket season, and having this leading brand will really help Ross (Dewar) and myself to keep these players fit."
Juliet Barratt, Grenade® CMO and Co-Founder, said: “We're proud to partner with Worcestershire CCC for the 2017 season."
"Driven by the strong brand and distinctive products, Grenade® has made an explosive impact in the sports and active nutrition space. We’re delighted to be supporting Worcestershire CCC's players with our award winning protein, intra-workout and recovery products."
