Grenade® #Give Us A Lift London
Grenade® are known for being bold and colourful and our latest shenanigans were no different! On Monday 5th August, we headed straight to the capital on our bright orange tank and paraded the streets of London with one simple mission: to turn those dreaded Monday blues orange!
As part of our #GiveUsALift campaign, we aimed to get you from A to B in style, while also giving you a much-needed ‘lift’ on a miserable Monday morning.
With International rugby legend James Haskell and personal trainer and fitness expert Chloe Madeley in tow, we toured the Shoreditch area, putting a smile on the faces of Londoners and spreading the word on all things Grenade®.
First stop: Shoreditch High Street.
Now, this trendy, east-end neighbourhood is known for being a little eccentric, but the arrival of our orange tank certainly caused a stir, with onlookers taking photos and stopping by to see what was going down. Shortly after we pulled up on Shoreditch High Street, out drivers for the day arrived, along with our first passengers.
As we journeyed through the London streets, we just so happened to run into Freestyle World Champion and Team Grenade® ambassador Liv Cooke.

We thought we’d help her out and give her a lift to her meeting at The Shard, but our trip was interrupted by a visit from the police – what’s life without a little drama, hey?!
Turns out the boys in blue were partial to a Carb Killa® or two so they spared us a telling off and, after a quick pitstop and a few tricks from Liv, we were back on our way.

Next stop: The Shard.
Ever the show-woman, Liv wowed the crowd with her freestyle footie skills before heading off to her meeting. We then welcomed Grenade® CEO and Co-Founder Alan Barratt onto the tank and we were off again.

From Tower Bridge to St. Paul’s Cathedral, we covered all corners of the capital’s east-end, picking up passers-bys and putting smiles on faces.

Alongside James, Chloe and Liv, we were also visited by fitness expert Chelsea Andersen, as well as personal trainer and yogi Tyrone Brennand and Team GB gymnast Jay Thompson, who took to the top of the tank to show off their skills.

Did you spot us on the streets of London? We loved chatting to the people of the capital and spreading a little bit of cheer on a Monday.
Where would you like to see the tank next? Let us know on our social channels and, you never know, we may be heading to a town near you soon!
